The 58-year-old host of CNN Inside Politics kept his diagnosis a secret from his friends and coworkers.
However, King unexpectedly discussed his personal MS battle while highlighting the significance of the COVID-19 vaccination and mask regulations to assist safeguard the immunocompromised during his live broadcast on October 19.
He said, “I am immunocompromised. I have multiple sclerosis so I’m grateful you’re all vaccinated. I am grateful my employer says all of these amazing people who work on the floor, who came in here in the last 18 months when we are doing this, are vaccinated now that we have vaccines.”
