A Premier League defender for Arsenal, Robert Samuel Holding was born on September 20, 1995, in London, England.
In April 2015, Holding made his senior debut for Bury on loan from Bolton Wanderers, having advanced through the club’s development ranks. In the summer of 2016, he joined Premier League club Arsenal after one season with Bolton’s first team. Since joining the club, he has won the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield thrice each. At the under-21 level, Holding was a member of the team that won the Toulon Tournament in 2016 and represented England.
At the end of last season, the Arsenal defender had a noticeable receding hairline despite only turning 26 in September.
During the summer, he was photographed with a shaved head, leading some admirers to speculate that this was evidence of a hair transplant.
The defender has grown out a full head of hair in photos taken at Arsenal training last week.
Holding was purchased by Bolton in 2016 for £2 million, at which point he was fortunate enough to be able to afford it.

However, his barnet, like his playing time, has dwindled over the past few months.
In the past, Holding has spoken openly about his low self-esteem due to his hair loss.
Hair transplantation at a London clinic, he said, had a significant positive impact on his mental health.

Because it’s World Mental Health Day on October 10, I struggled so much with my hair and my self-confidence,” he wrote on his blog on that date.
So many people have inquired about where I had my operation done.
Wimpole Clinic in London treated me very well and I am quite pleased with the results.
So many people have reached out to me, sharing their stories of how mental health and self-confidence issues have affected their lives.
“I can’t say enough good things about this place, so let’s all do better.”
Fans on social media were also enamored with Holding’s new style and gushing over the Englishman’s achievements.

The hair transplant has made Rob Holding “a different gravy.”
“Holding’s hair transplant might be the greatest one ever,” BigJay added.
“Holding’s hair transplant is actually a miracle worker,” Patrick tweeted.
This season, the two-time FA Cup winner has appeared just eight times, four in the Carabao Cup and four in the Premier League.
Ben White and Gabriel are preventing him from making the squad, even though he played 38 times last season.
With Holding’s latest hair transplant, he joins the ranks of several well-known footballers.
Some celebrities have spent up to £30,000 on procedures that have radically altered their appearance.
David Silva, Wayne Rooney, and Andros Townsend are all former Manchester City and United players.
Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25 why not. I'm delighted with the result.
