Due to a server error, Instagram users were unable to send messages.

Our Technical reporters say that around 11:05 PM IST, about a thousand users said the app was down. Two days ago, on Monday morning, Instagram tweeted that the problem had been fixed.

Instagram tweeted, “We’ve fixed this bug. It was making it hard for people in different parts of the world to access their accounts, and it caused a temporary change in the number of followers for some.” “Sorry!”

There was no more information available right away about what caused the outage.

We don’t know when the problem will be fixed, but many Instagram users are frustrated by it because it’s something that happens all the time.

Update: Instagram fixed the issue around 11:30 PM, Now users can send messages without any interruptions.
