Was Sania Mirza previously engaged?
Sania was betrothed to Sohrab Mirza, the owner of Universal Baker, before she was married to Shoaib. Since they were young children, their parents had been close friends for three generations.
Sohrab Malik admitted in a 2010 interview that he had foreseen the breakup of his engagement with Sania Mirza. He said, “It was a mutual decision to get engaged and we mutually decided to part ways even though it hurts. But, you have to move on.”
