Zayn Malik requested assistance from the government in an OPEN letter to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to ensure that all children living in poverty receive free school lunches.

The former member of One Direction wrote a touching letter to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak pleading with him to “act in good conscience” and provide money for free school meals for underprivileged children by the budget deadline on November 17. Malik, 29, grew up in Bradford and “relied on Free School Meals,” as he said, so the problem is personal to him.
