How did their relationship start?
When Kelsea Ballerini and her husband Morgan Evans first worked together in 2016 as co-hosts of Australia’s Country Music Channel Awards, they quickly clicked.
Evans and Ballerini both shared their engagement news on Instagram, but the singer made it public in 2016 with a heartfelt two-part post.
With 100 of their closest friends and family members present, the pair exchanged vows on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in December 2017.
“Dance With Me,” which was released in October 2018, was the first song on which the country duo worked together. It was written by Evans about Ballerini.
Evans revealed that he and Ballerini would move into their first home together on October 19, 2020, about three years after they exchanged vows.
How did they reveal their relationship came to an end?
Ballerini informed her followers on her Instagram stories that she and Evans had decided to divorce after nearly five years of marriage.
She wrote, “Friends, I’ve always tried my best to share my life with you in a real and vulnerable way, while also protecting layers of my personal life as they unfold. This is now public record so I wanted you to hear from me directly that I am going through a divorce.”
Evans also posted on his Instagram story writing, “I am very sad to confirm that after almost five years of marriage, Kelsea and I are parting ways. I wish it were otherwise but sadly it is not.”

Did they reach a settlement?
The couple came to an arrangement over their assets after filing for divorce in August 2022. Ballerini and Evans have both vacated their marital house in Nashville, as stated in the agreement.
A real estate agent that has been chosen by both parties has the house now on the market for sale. Household furnishings and other personal goods have also been separated.
Evans opened up about his divorce at an interview at the 2022 CMA awards. He said, “One of the hardest parts of it is how lonely it feels, it’s strangely comforting to realize that so many other people have been through it.”
A source revealed that the estranged couple did their best to save their ill-fated relationship to no avail.
