Who is Bobby Wooten?
Wooten was raised in Chicago, Illinois, and was born in New Jersey. As a child, he sang in the gospel choir of his family, the Wooten Choral Ensemble.
He is a Grammy-nominated musician, producer, and songwriter. In terms of music, he is essentially self-taught as well.
He has collaborated with many performers during his musical career, including Carly Rae Jepsen, Jennifer Lopez, Rick Ross, Mac Miller, Jennifer Hudson and more.
About their relationship
They were first spotted kissing outside the subway on their way to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in April, and that is when romance rumours first surfaced.
On May 26, Holmes and Wooten made their first red carpet appearance together while attending The Moth’s 25th Anniversary gala, The Silver Ball, which was hosted at Spring Studios in New York City.
As a result of his collaboration with musician David Byrne on the Broadway recording of American Utopia, Wooten received an invitation to The Moth’s Silver Ball. The honoree for the evening was Byrne, who received the award from Wooten.
Wooten also accompanied Holmes to the premiere of her film Alone Together in June 2022, where they strolled the red carpet hand in hand.
They dated for eight months before breaking up in December. When they broke up, a source said the single mom felt that things were going too fast in the relationship and that Suri Cruise, her 16-year-old daughter from her previous marriage with Tom Cruise, would always be her first priority.
The actress previously dated chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. for eight months before splitting up in May 2021 quoting the same reasons.
