On Wednesday morning, the American-born rapper Tierra Whack was arrested for bringing a loaded gun to Philadelphia International Airport and charged with disorderly conduct.

Jane Roh, spokesperson for District Attorney Larry Krasner said that The 27-year-old rapper was carrying a gun inside her bag which was seized at the security checkpoint. However, she is licensed to carry a concealed firearm.

TMZ reported that Tierra’s bag was searched by Homeland Security officials at an X-ray checkpoint inside Philadelphia International Airport and they found a gun loaded with 6 live rounds in the magazine though none in the chamber.

Although, authorities believe that she brought it with her by mistake and she had no intention of hurting anyone.

Whack, whose debut studio album “Whack World” received a lot of praise has yet to address the incident on social media, her most recent tweet reads “We giving out love and opportunity!”

It’s been almost a year since Whack released a song. Her last project was a trio of EPs — Pop?R&B?, and Rap?, which was released in December 2021. However, However, Fans won’t have to wait too long to see her as she will be the host of the “Whack A** Comedy” comedy show on November 29 at Philadelphia’s Punchline.
