Celine Dion Shares an Update on Her Health Issues as She Postpones Her Tour Again
As Céline Dion’s health problems persist, she must once again delay the start of her tour.
The 54-year-old music legend posted a heartfelt video to Instagram on Friday, expressing her sadness about having to relocate and cancel her future European performances.
Well, here we are again, and I apologize that we must alter our European travel itinerary yet again. Dion began, “The bad news is that we had to shift the gigs because of the pandemic, and now this is my health difficulties that are leading us to postpone some events, and unfortunately we have to cancel some too.”
Her healing, she said, is “going really sluggish,” which is “quite stressful for me.” I’m seeing my physicians and taking my medication, but I’m still having spasms and it’s taking a lot longer for me to heal than I had thought,” she added, adding that she needed to be in “top shape” to perform.

Since she had to postpone the North American portion of her tour in January due to “severe and chronic muscle spasms,” the singer has been candid about her suffering.
“I’m simply not there yet,” she stated in her video posted on Friday. “Please accept my deepest condolences for the news we have to share with you today. Those of you who have been patiently waiting for these concerts know how much I value your support.
As Dion added, “very best to go back to the level that I need to be so that I can give 100 percent at my shows ’cause that’s what you deserve.”
