The “Dancing With the Stars” program honoring Elvis Presley left both performers and viewers inconsolable.

During the second week of the competition, “Dancing with the Stars” honored the music and legacy of Elvis Presley. That meant two hours of carefully crafted concerts honoring the King of Rock and Roll!

Those dance routines covered a variety of Presley’s career eras, including his start in rock music, his time on the big screen in Hollywood, and his victorious return to Las Vegas.

Early on, we became aware of a weakness in the dancing armor: professional dancer Daniella Karagach had to self-quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19. Alexis Warr from the group danced alongside her partner, Joseph Baena.

Overall, it was a fantastic night of competition, and the winner was decided by a three-way tie between Wayne Brady, Charli D’Amelio, and Gabby Windey.

Other couples all significantly increased their ratings from week one.

Judge Derek Hough observed, “Practice doesn’t make perfect; it makes progress.” “Tonight, everybody made an improvement.”

Nevertheless, for season 31, one pair had to put their dance shoes away. Teresa Giudice and Cheryl Ladd finished in the bottom two based on the combined ratings from the judges and the audience.

Giudice was retained by the judges Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli, while Ladd was chosen by Carrie Ann Inaba. Len Goodman, the chief judge, made the ultimate call and decided to retain Ladd and Louis van Amstel.

Thus, Teresa Giudice and Pasha Pashkov were no longer in the running.

Next week, 14 couples will be back, and the theme will be the score from all 60 of James Bond movies.
