Don’t know what to watch on TV this week? The Equalizer is just one of these five must-see TV crime dramas.

The return of autumn television is unmistakable. More series will return from summer hiatuses this week, and there will also be some new releases on streaming services. When you add The Rookie and its spin-off, three FBI shows, the returns of both NCIS and Chicago PD, and you have a lot on your plate. There are now more things on our radar.

It’s likely that you won’t be able to keep up with everything in real-time. And you’ll miss out on some of the best new releases available on competing for streaming services. Just what is airing this week that you shouldn’t miss?

This week’s recommended crime shows include The Equalizer and others.

The Equalizer 3

The first step is getting back to a semi-regular schedule on Sunday evenings. On Sunday, October 2, the third season of The Equalizer will finally premiere, and we cannot wait. Since we last saw Robyn, she was being loaded into the back of a truck; now, her team and her family will join forces to get her back.

But there’s a catch: things aren’t going smoothly. A lot of people will be dead before Robyn can even start talking to them. How soon can the team reach her before she becomes the body count?

In the United States, you can catch the episode on CBS on Sunday, October 2 at 8:30 p.m. As soon as that airs, the pilot episode of East New York will air for the first time.
