Claims that Kylie Jenner is behaving shadily with Selena Gomez are debunked. In response to a TikTok video accusing her of making fun of Selena’s eyebrows in Instagram Stories, the founder of Kylie Cosmetics set the record straight.

On February 22, Kylie said in a comment on a TikTok video posted by @devotedly.yours “this is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts!” “The Kardashians” star added, “u guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.”

The TikToker made note of the fact that in the aforementioned tweet, Kylie seemed to make fun of Selena’s brows after the latter released a video in which she claimed to have “unintentionally laminated [her] brows too much.” Kylie posted a selfie of herself three hours later with the caption “this was an accident?.”

While it may have just been coincidence or terrible timing, Kylie’s subsequent Instagram Story only served to confirm fans’ suspicions that she is disparaging Selena. The picture in the post strangely zoomed in on their eyebrows and appeared to be a clip of her Facetime conversation with Hailey Bieber (Hailey Baldwin).

Many also believed that Kylie disparaged Selena because she was displeased with the actress from “Only Murders in the Building” for formally dethroning her as the most popular female Instagram user. The former Disney star had the most followers as of Wednesday night at 6:25 PM EST, followed by the reality TV star, who has 380,425,729 followers.

Once Hailey was charged with darkening Selena in a TikTok video, the brow controversy started. In the since-deleted video, Justin Bieber‘s wife was joined by Justine Skye and Kendall Jenner as they mumbled, “I’m not saying she deserves it, but I’m saying God’s timing is always right.”

Selena soon let everyone know that she wasn’t at all bothered by the video after learning about it. “It’s alright! I don’t allow these things to depress me! Be polite to everybody! X, “The comment was made by the star.

Yet Hailey insisted that her video does not in any way disparage anyone. “We were simply having a girl’s night and made a random tik tok sound for fun; I never comment on things like this. None of them are the target of it, “The model, 26, then made a remark on a post about the situation.

Conclusion

Rumors of Kylie Jenner shading Selena Gomez on social media have been debunked, with the reality TV star denying any intentional criticism of the actress. Despite accusations of making fun of Selena’s eyebrows, Kylie defended herself, insisting that there was no shade intended.

The controversy highlights the power of social media and the scrutiny that comes with it, as celebrities’ every move is under constant observation by their millions of followers.
