He used the “Find My iPhone” app, according to Inquisitr, to figure out that Sherri’s phone had fallen somewhere along her usual jogging route. The phone was with her earbuds and a few strands of hair. Aside from that, the police had no clues until Sherri miraculously showed up 150 miles away from where she was said to have been taken.
The San Francisco Chronicle said that a truck driver heading north on I-5 saw Sherri. The SF Chronicle said, “She was tied down with ropes and had a brand on her left shoulder.” Keith told the media something about Sherri’s health that investigators didn’t know about at the time. They were still looking for the people who took her, and Keith giving that kind of information to the press could hurt their case.
