It has been rainbows and butterflies for Steven Gerrard’s daughter Lilly as she found a romantic relationship with the son of the Irish mob boss Lee Byrne. The Influencer has shown her interest in Lee Byrne since around April. Past few weeks ago, Lilly went to Ibiza and both of them actually got media attention when the couple enjoyed the sun-soaked holiday in Ibiza and shared some pictures including one of Lee kissing her on the head.
Another shared photo shows that they are returning home, where Lee is relaxing on his Private Jet with Lilly. Whereas Lilly’s former England and Liverpool star dad Steven was also seen in a video call last week with Lee’s father Liam, 41. She and her boyfriend just got back from a trip to Ibiza.
Byrne Snr’s Links to The Kinahan Cartel
Byrne Snr is a very close friend of Irish businessman Daniel Kinahan, who has some ties to murders, money laundering, and a multimillion-dollar drug trafficking operation in the UK.
His connections with the Kinahan cartel came to the media when it was declared that Byrne Snr. belonged to “the very top tier” of organized crime at Ireland’s High Court in 2018. Byrne was officially called a “close and trusted associate and lieutenant” of Kinahan by The Lawyers.
Various friends say that Lilly and Lee both love to go on dates and she has been a frequent visitor to his apartment in Formby. They both have a happy relationship. A couple of months before, they had also been spotted at a coffee shop, where Lilly covered Lee’s face with a heart-shaped emoji, displaying Lee’s initials on one of her nails.
The duo was also seen on the walking track taking the Gerrard family’s two dogs Barney and Blondie for a walk in Formby. A few days ago, a video of Ashton Villa’s manager Steven Gerrard with Byrne Snr sat together in a bar in Ibiza came out.
Everyone was curious to know how the pair met but during the video call, Gerrard suggested taking a Liverpool fan to “see the Reds” while Byrne sat next to him and smiled.
Then Byrne offered dinner with Gerrard and the fan at his home in the UK.
