Rumer Willis, an actress, appears to have caught the flu early this year since she recently revealed on social media that she was recovering from the illness.

The former star of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood posted a text message on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, September 27, from the well-known aesthetics page @touchmysense_, saying that she needed “a hug and 6 months of sleep.”

The 34-year-old actress, who is the eldest child of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, captioned the photo, “Got hit with the bad stomach flu and wow I’m still so sensitive.”

This is not the first time the celebrity has been open about her health issues. The celebrity previously wrote a touching post in February 2021 outlining her battles with “severe anxiety,” which she claimed may sometimes make her feel as though she’s “dying.”

Shortly after publishing her tearful update, the celebrity gave fans a cheery update, saying she had received “amazingly wonderful words” that had made her feel “loved and supported.”

“I made the choice to plan my day on my own. Put on a new dress,” she wrote with a video of herself wearing the new attire. “Play some music, and let loose.”
