Colin Kaepernick is a social activist and American football player with a net worth of $20 million. Colin was born in Wisconsin and attended grade school in Turlock, California until he was four years old. He began playing football at the age of eight, and at the age of nine, he began playing quarterback.
After signing with the San Francisco 49ers, Kaepernick began his football career as a backup starter. In 2012, Colin took over as the team’s starting quarterback. He was a constant starting quarterback after the second year of his career, and he had a lot of success.

At the ACLU of Southern California’s annual Bill of Rights dinner in 2017, Kaepernick received the Eason Monroe Courageous Advocate Award. He was announced as a finalist for TIME’s Person of the Year award the next day.
Since he was ten years old, Kaepernick’s family has kept a pet African spurred tortoise named Sammy.
During his undergraduate years, Kaepernick was baptized Methodist, confirmed Lutheran, and attended a Baptist church.
In late 2015, Kaepernick switched to a vegan diet.
In July 2015, Kaepernick began dating radio personality and television host Nessa Diab, and the couple went public with their relationship in February 2016.
Kaepernick and Nessa launched the Know Your Rights Camp, a non-profit that taught impoverished youths about self-empowerment, American history, and legal rights through free seminars. The Know Your Rights Camp developed a relief fund for anyone affected by the COVID-19 outbreak in April 2020. Kaepernick made a $100,000 donation to the cause.
Kaepernick launched Kaepernick Publishing in February 2020. Through his publishing firm and Audible, Kaepernick will release a memoir.

Kaepernick’s home in San Jose, California, was sold for $3.075 million in 2017. The two-story home has four bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and a living area of roughly 4,600 square feet. A wall aquarium, a complete bar, a pool, jacuzzi, and waterfall feature are among the amenities. Kaepernick purchased the house for $2.7 million in 2014 and completely renovated it.
In July 2016, Kaepernick paid $3.21 million for a two-bedroom luxury condo in New York City. The condo in Tribeca is said to have a 24-hour concierge, a swimming pool, a private fitness club, and a garage. The same family trust that bought Kaepernick’s property in San Jose is said to have bought the 1,733-square-foot flat.
