Who is Kevin Conroy?
The senior American actor Kevin Conroy is most recognised for providing Bruce Wayne’s voice in the renowned Batman animated series.
In the Batman animated series, Kevin Conroy provided voices for four distinct characters, including Batman, Bruce Wayne, Thomas Alan Wayne, Bruce Wayne’s father, and the villainous Batman.
Kevin Conroy was gay and married to Vaughn C Williams.
How did he pass away?
Kevin Conroy’s demise was first confirmed by Diane Pershing, who had collaborated with the senior actor for Batman: The Animated Series, as the voice behind Poison Ivy.
Pershing said, “He’s been ill for a while but he really put in a lot of time at the cons, to the joy of all of his fans. He will be sorely missed not just by the cast of the series but by his legion of fans all over the world.”
According to a statement from Warner Bros., he passed away after a brief fight with cancer.
The makers of Batman series took to their official Instagram handle and paid tribute to Kevin Conroy with a post that reads, “Warner Bros. Animation is saddened by the loss of our dear friend Kevin Conroy. His iconic portrayal of Batman will forever stand among the greatest portrayals of the Dark Knight in any medium. We send our warmest thoughts to his loved ones and join fans around the world in honoring his legacy.”

Following the publication of a special Batman comic book that Conroy helped create for DC Pride, the actor recorded a video of himself thanking the fans because he was so moved by the response to the project.
