After a successful first season, fans of the thrilling drama series Wolf Pack have been eagerly awaiting the release of the show’s second season. The television show is based on the same-titled book by Edo van Belkom and centers on a pair of teens whose lives are irrevocably altered when a wildfire unleashes a supernatural being.
The major issue now that season 1 of Wolf Pack is done is: Will there be a season 2? Below, we divulge everything we know.
Will Wolf Pack return for a second season?
Wolf Pack has not yet been renewed by Paramount+ for a second season. Streaming services have been known to watch a series’ performance. The series has a 40% bad score on Rotten Tomatoes, indicating that it wasn’t a fan favorite with the reviewers. Yet, the series has a very high 82% user rating, which is encouraging for a second season.
Is there more of the narrative to learn? Yes, as mentioned, the series is based on the book by Edo van Belkom. That being said, Wolf Pack, Lone Wolf, Cry Wolf, and Wolf Man are the four volumes in this series that van Belkom authored.
The second season of the show follows the tale of how the four teenagers adjust to daily life while attempting to conceal their identities.
As the second season has already been planned out in the book and it being rapidly transformed into a script, along with the show’s popular characters and the high audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a second season isn’t completely improbable.Â
When will the second season of Wolf Pack possibly air?
Although a second season of Wolf Pack has not yet been confirmed, we remain hopeful. But even if the proposed renewal is approved, fans will still have to wait a while.
Season one premiered in January 2023, hence the earliest possible release date for season two is early 2024. It’s important to keep in mind that production must account for the time required for special effects, which could make it take a little longer.
Even Jeff Davis, the creator of Wolf Pack (and Teen Wolf), is being cautious when it comes to having his projects approved.
Who will return in the Wolf Pack season 2 cast?
Given her enthusiasm, Gellar also serves as the show’s executive producer, and we anticipate that this won’t alter for season two. Gellar said the following in the same conversation with Digital Spy:
“The script was already written when I came, but I said to Jeff Davis, who’s our incredible creator and showrunner, and I said, you know, you have to understand that for me being an executive producer, it’s not a vanity title.
“I’m going to have opinions, I’m going to have critiques. And you have to be willing to hear them.”
Together with Bella Shepard (who portrays Blake Navarro), Tyler Lawrence Gray (who plays Harlan Briggs), and Chloe Rose Robertson (who plays Luna Briggs), Armani Jackson is expected to return in the role of freshly bitten werewolf Everett Lang.
Garrett Briggs (Rodrigo Santoro), the adopted father of the Briggs twins, had a pretty intense cliffhanger, so it’s probable he’ll make a cameo in some kind.
But, not everyone will return for season two.
We’re still grieving the death of Bailey Stender’s Phoebe Caldwell, who passed away earlier in the season right after she and Blake had patched things up.
We do anticipate seeing Chase Liefeld dressed as Baron, though; his tale is far from over.
What will happen in the second season of Wolf Pack?
Christmas at the Briggs’ is going to become a lot more stressful now that the family secret has been revealed.
By “family secret,” we obviously refer to the information that Kristin is the biological mother of Harlan and Luna and that Baron is actually their sibling.
Season two will reveal how this adorable little mismatched family will come together now that the Briggs children have learned the truth about their ancestry. The most serious concern, though, is whether Garrett will become a wolf in order to fit in with the pack.
Harlan can finally have the father he’s always wanted in him, Kristin tells Garrett at the end of the season, but not with Garrett remaining human.
We can almost taste the subtext when Baron focuses on Garrett’s gaze. He means to turn him into a wolf.
A werewolf Garrett could certainly mess things up for season two, though the fade to dark makes it unclear whether Baron actually followed through with it or not.
All episodes of Wolf Pack are available to stream now on  in the US and Fridays in the UK.
