Ted Lasso Season 3 Release Date: What’s Ahead For Their Characters Is A Mystery To The Cast

Entertainment

Season 3 of Ted Lasso was announced in October 2020, but no official release date has been announced.

The series has become a fan favorite, following an extraordinarily kind American football coach who is hired to manage a professional “soccer” team in England despite having little knowledge of the game.

Jason Sudeikis, who plays the titular coach and won an Emmy for his portrayal, has been stealing hearts. Ted may be up against his hardest challenge yet, as a former ally has emerged as a new adversary more on that in a bit.

AFC Richmond is back in the Premier League after a difficult second season in which they faced a new challenge in a lower league and made it their aim to return to the top.

But, in terms of Ted Lasso season three, what can we anticipate? So far, here’s what we’ve learned.

Ted Lasso Season 3 Release Date Speculation

Ted Lasso Season 3 Release Date

Apple hasn’t confirmed it yet, but it hasn’t prevented rumors from spreading. We don’t know who The Hollywood Reporter’s source is not that they’d tell us; we’re not friends with them on a Lasso/Crimm level, but the outlet said that Apple plans to air Ted Lasso season 3 by summer 2022.

The brief gap between seasons 2 and 3 – less than a year! — appears to be due to meticulous planning. As previously said, Apple announced Ted Lasso season 3 in October 2020, months before season 2 was set to premiere.

Team Lasso’s brain trust was likely able to start planning and composing the new season early because of the head start. But, based on the framework of AFC Richmond’s relegation and promotion in seasons one and two, it’s safe to infer that showrunner Bill Lawrence and his colleagues have a strategy.
