Long Slow Exhale Season 2 Plot:
The Clayton Hall Cougars, led by J.C. Abernathy, won this year’s girl’s high school basketball championship. Shannon, the team’s star shooter, accuses Eddie, the team’s assistant coach, of sexually abusing her.
Even though Eddie and J.C. are already dating, she is forced to pick a side in this situation. Hillman Ford, the faculty’s sports director, is steadfast in his refusal to let Shannon help him.
Eddie’s promotion is rejected by J.C. because of Hillman’s attempt to present J.C. with a threat to her employment. In the meantime, her relationship with the college’s administration is becoming increasingly strained as more and more women come forward to report incidents of sexual assault.
J.C. is now conducting a new investigation into the subject and Hillman’s troubling past. They are preparing for the upcoming competitions while also dealing with personal and family issues.
After all, it appears as if Hillman’s death is going to be solved by J.C. and her husband Garrett as this season draws to a close.
The second season will almost certainly begin immediately after the dramatic conclusion of season one and show how J.C. and Garrett manage their position. There will also be new information revealed about Hillman’s life and death, including the role played by the faculty at the alternative high school where he worked.
