Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had already provided enough cameos for Earth-838’s Illuminati, including John Krasinski as Mister Fantastic and Patrick Stewart as a new version of Professor X. In the mid-credits scene in Multiverse of Madness, Stephen Strange (Benicio Cumberbatch) discovers he has a third eye and is contacted by Clea (Charlize Theron), a character who has played a significant role in the Doctor Strange comics for decades. Clea Theron’s official pictures have been released about a week after the film’s release, and they’re really stunning!
The appearance of Charlize Theron as Clea in Doctor Strange: The Planes of Destruction was one of the most pleasant surprises of the movie, and now fans can see the actress in action without having to rely on a smartphone photo.
A close-up of Charlize Theron as Clea, complete with white hair and purple eyeshadow, is shown above. As she stands next to Benedict Cumberbatch‘s Doctor Strange on the street, we get a glimpse of her distinctive attire.
I didn’t think we’d get any good looks at Theron’s Clea until after the theatrical release of Doctor Strange: The Far Side of Time and the Multiverse of Madness or until it was made available to Disney+ subscribers, but she surprised us all by releasing these images just days after the film’s successful opening weekend in theatres.

When Charlize Theron’s character, Clea, appeared briefly in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, she warned the audience that his actions in the main plot had caused an invasion that he must assist her to solve.
Following her into the Dark Region, Strange popped out his third eye once more and pursued her into that chaotic dimension he first encountered as an adult in 2016.
Although Marvel Studios hasn’t officially approved a threequel, it’s obvious as day that this is the foundation for a future Doctor Strange film. Fans should brace themselves for the possibility of Strange and Clea working together in the MCU at some time.
Nearly a year and a half after Doctor Strange first appeared in Marvel Comics, Clea first appeared in Strange Tales #126. Because she’s Umar’s daughter and Dormammu’s niece, Faltine Clea hails from the Dimension of Darkness.

Even though the two of them married, Clea eventually returned to her home realm as a leader of a resistance movement against the Dark Dimension’s rule. The Sorcerer Supreme mantle has passed to Clea after the “Death of Doctor Strange” narrative, which makes me question if the MCU will be without Wong if something terrible happens to him.
We may have to wait a while to find out what Charlize Theron’s Clea is up to next, but we’ll keep an eye out for any important developments. The future Marvel movies guide is available while you wait if you’re curious about what’s in store for this series on the big screen.
