The notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer has been all over the news recently due to the success of Netflix’s latest true crime film, “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” and the debate that followed.
Canadian true crime media retailer Cult Collectibles owner Taylor James is selling a pair of aviator glasses that were reportedly worn by Dahmer in prison for the price of $150,000.
The Netflix series has received both high praise and harsh criticism, and its launch was the most watched in the service’s history. Evan Peters’ performance as Dahmer in “American Horror Story” has been praised by many, but the program has also been attacked for what some see as its tendency to glorify Dahmer at the expense of his victims.
The serial killer, who died in 1994, left behind a number of personal items that are now being sold on the website. The website claims that numerous high-priced items have already been sold. The store’s owner mentioned that James is handling direct sales of the glasses. According to The Daily Beast, the site has previously advertised another pair of the killer’s glasses for sale.
The glasses caught the eye again as Stephen Deleonardis(famous YouTuber) better known as SteveWillDoIt, has said that he will pay $200K For Dahmer’s Glasses/.
