Months before Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s breakup, Kris Jenner claimed that Davidson “fits in with the family.”
Even if things didn’t work out between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, Kris Jenner was totally in favour of their romance.
Prior to their August breakup, Kris had no qualms about expressing on Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians that she had no problem with her daughter dating the 28-year-old comedian.
Kim, 41, got a call from the former Saturday Night Live actor as she was talking to her family about Pete’s planned trip to space, a trip he ultimately did not take due to a schedule difficulty when the blast-off date was changed.
Pete was questioned further about the trip by Kris, 66, asking whether or if he was anxious and whether or not he had a will in place in case something went wrong. Pete joined in the fun, making jokes with Kim’s relatives, including her grandmother Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon and sister Khloé Kardashian.
Kris confessed about her daughter’s ex-boyfriend and the effect he had on her as the group chuckled.
“Pete is incredible. No stress or drama; he’s just Pete “She spoke. “He blends very well with the family. I believe Kim is content because Pete makes her laugh and makes her more self-assured.”
When Kim and Pete kissed during a sketch on her SNL hosting debut in October of last year, relationship rumours initially began to circulate. They were seen holding hands on a roller coaster at Knott’s Berry Farm later that month.
Pete called Kim his “girlfriend” and formally confirmed their relationship to PEOPLE in February.
The pair had split up by August. Their busy schedules were a contributing factor in their separation, an insider said at the time, according to PEOPLE. “It was difficult because they both travel constantly.”
The Meet Cute star still has a special place in the SKIMS founder’s heart despite their split. Kim referred to Pete as “a cutie” in an interview with Interview Magazine from last month.
In The Kardashians episode from last week, she also discussed the reasons why he dates “beautiful girls.” (Prior to dating Kim, Pete had been linked to a number of women, including Kaia Gerber, Margaret Qualley, Ariana Grande, and Kate Beckinsale.)
In an episode confessional, she commented, “Pete has the best heart.” “People seem to think that he dates only attractive women, in my opinion. And he complies. But he’s the loveliest, most considerate person ever.”
In this week’s show, Kim disclosed that she and Pete had sex in front of a fireplace at her grandmother MJ’s advice during that same meeting with her family.
You know what’s so crazy, grandma?” she inquired. “Pete and I had sex in front of the fireplace last weekend while staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel. My grandma taught me that you really experience life when you have sex in front of the fireplace, so we did it in honour of you.”
She said, “I realise it’s incredibly disturbing,” before stating that the private act was not done in the foyer. But isn’t it weird to think about your grandmother before having sex?
