World-famous South Korean band “BTS” marked another milestone as their hit song ‘Butter’ has made it into the Spotify Billions Club. Year by Year, the South Korean army is hitting the charts, even in 2021, the band became the first Korean band to join Spotify’s Billions Club with their 2020 hit song “Dynamite”.

Spotify officially announced on October 14 that their second English language single “Butter” has surpassed over 1 Billion streams on Spotify, which made the award-winning pop group’s second Billions Club entry. BTS also shared a tweet about hitting a billion streams and also they thanked the BTS army.

Butter was officially released on May 21 and within just 24 hours, it broke a lot of world records, in which one of them being the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours (approximately 108.2 million views). It also gained the No.1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned various nominations, including its second Grammy nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Since K-Pop music is increasing worldwide, so it’s been common for them to achieve these kinds of records. However, a Billion streams on Spotify is such a huge milestone, even though only a few artists have achieved this success, but still, the BTS band has a lot to accomplish in the future.
