Vikings: Valhalla Season 2 Plot Details, Jeb Stuart Says "Vikings Will Explore the World"

Spoiler Alert

The ending of the first season of Vikings: Valhalla shows a lot of things where Olaf became a new ruler of Kattegat, but not for too long as King Forkbeard (Soren Pilmark) and Canute’s (Bradley Freegard) arrived in Kattegat.

Whereas Freydis and Harald flew away from Kattegat and left injured Leif behind. Disappointed Leif was in grief following the death of his close friend Liv (Lujza Richter), who was killed in battle.

Through this, we may expect that there will be a massive fight over Kattegat’s next leader. A lot of challenges have to be faced by Olaf to maintain his crown. Additionally, we will witness more battles, more casualties of warriors, and more thrilling experiences.

The creator of the show Jeb Stuart told Newsweek that the Vikings would explore more countries and experience the cultures a little bit more. Furthermore, speaking to Netflix’s Tudum Jeb told that Harald and Leif will be heading on a “road trip” that forms the start of an “incredible journey,” while Freydis will sail to Pomerania.

During Netflix’s Tudum event, the first look clip of the upcoming Vikings: Valhalla season 2 was released. Initially, the clip showed the stunning appearance of three heroes, Viking Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his sister Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), and prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), and some survivors who were moving to a safe place.

Although they went to an island in order to move from there, surprisingly the island was surrounded by Olaf and his warriors. Before their battle started, an unknown force attacked Olaf’s army with a fire-filled attack.

While Netflix has yet to announce the official synopsis of the second installment but considering the conclusion of the first season and shared clips, we can easily anticipate that there will be a more exciting journey for all of them.

Till then, fans should wait for Netflix to give an update on the official synopsis or any official trailer so that they will rejoice in the experience of historical Vikings again.

The second season of Vikings: Valhalla is scheduled to be released on January 12, 2023.
