After Girl’s Tyme, she joined Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland to form Destiny’s Child, where she and Rowland were the group’s last and most well-known members.

In an interview with the magazine, Beyonce said, “I think that managing work and life is the most difficult thing for me.” In addition to operating a company, she writes, “it may be tough to be there for my children — dropping Blue off at school, driving Rumi and Sir to their activities, organizing date nights with my husband, and being home in time for dinner with my family.

As she proceeded, “I think that’s the reality for every working mother,” she said, “juggling all of those tasks.” When life began to teach me things I didn’t know I needed, I began searching for larger significance. My definition of success has changed. I came to realize that all of my pain and sorrow were in reality blessings.”
