As the second son of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Andrew is the third of her children. To the British crown at the time of his birth, he was second in line. He is currently an eighth-grader.
He was an active-duty helicopter pilot and battleship captain in the Royal Navy, rising to the rank of commander and the honorary title of Vice Admiral. During the Falklands War, he flew several flights as well.
Andrew entered the world on a cold and blustery February 19th, 1950. In 2022, he turned 62 years old.
Recently, Andrew has been accused of sexual abuse by a woman named Virginia Giuffre. Giuffre claims that American financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficked her to Andrew while she was a minor.
He resigned from all official positions permanently in May 2020 after receiving widespread backlash for his ties to Epstein, and he returned his honorary military affiliations to the Queen in January 2022.
Giuffre launched a civil complaint for sexual assault against him in New York, and they settled out of court in February 2022.

He is a multi-ranking officer in the British armed services as well as the armed forces of the Commonwealth. He remained engaged in a number of royal tasks up until July 2011, when he stepped down from his post as the United Kingdom’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment.

Is Prince Andrew Married?
When Prince Andrew wed Sarah Ferguson on July 23, 1986, they chose Westminster Abbey as the setting. Then, he was elevated to the position of Duke of York. At Royal Ascot in 1985, he ran into an old friend from his youth, Ferguson.
However, the Duke of York’s military career meant that he had to travel frequently, which put a strain on his marriage. They had been together since high school, but they decided to split up in 1992 and were able to do it amicably. Their divorce was finalized in May of 1996.
In his words, he and his ex-wife “worked together to bring up our children in a way that few others have been able to and I am tremendously thankful to be able to accomplish so.”
It is speculated that Prince Andrew is now unmarried. Photographs of him and model Alexandra Escort, then 25 years old, were taken on a yacht in 2010. Andrew was rumored to be seeing George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Monika Jakisic four years later.
Princess Beatrice (born in 1988) and Princess Eugenie (born in 1992) is Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s children (born in 1990).
Since their divorce, Andrew and Sarah have shared custody of their girls and take them on vacations together as often as possible.

What Is Prince Andrew’s Net Worth?
Prince Andrew is worth an estimated $5 million (£4 million) in 2022.
The heir to the throne was once known by many honorifics, including His Royal Highness, Freman of the City of York, Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, and Patron of the English National Ballet.
A song honoring Andrew, “Prince Andrew is a Sweaty N*nce,” by The Kunts, reached the UK Top 20 in the days leading up to the Jubilee, but he lost all of them because of his connections to Epstein.
Also, he has been relieved of his public duties as a royal, thus he will no longer get the approximately £250,000 per year that he was previously receiving tax-free from the Royal Family.
However, he still has a seven-bedroom luxury lodge in Switzerland and relaxes in a mansion in the English countryside.

Finances and Real Estate
The heir apparent to the British crown receives an extensive portfolio of properties known as The Duchy of Cornwall Trust. The trust, which is managed by Andrew’s brother Prince Charles, brings in an estimated $20 million annually. Andrew’s mother gave him a tax-free $322,000 allowance every year until he was finally kicked out in January 2022.
Prince Andrew, unlike his older brother, does not have a large royal trust. Nevertheless, he has amassed a substantial fortune and owns several magnificent properties, including a seven-bedroom luxury lodge in Switzerland that he purchased in 2014 for $17 million.
Andrew and his then-wife Sarah Ferguson purchased the chalet in installments from Isabelle de Rouvre, a French socialite. According to the story, they got a mortgage for about 75% of the price and planned to pay de Rouvre personally for the other 25% over time.
Ms. de Rouvre alleged in a later court filing that Andrew and Sarah hadn’t even paid the initial installment of almost $6 million. Sarah and Andrew have again failed to make a payment, despite Ms. de Rouvre apparently agreeing to enable them to delay their installments until December 2019 with interest.
In retaliation, de Rouvre took his case to a Swiss court. Late in 2021, Andrew paid the $9 million owed to de Rouvre and took ownership of the property. According to reports, Andrew paid the bill so he could list the house for sale and use the proceeds to pay for his legal defense against a sexual assault accusation in the United States.
Andrew’s wedding present in 1986 was the massive country estate Sunninghill House. He listed the house for sale in 2002, but it took him almost five years to finally find a buyer. In 2007, a bidder emerged who paid $20 million through a foreign trust, which was many million dollars above the asking price.
Timur Kulibayev, the son-in-law of Nursultan Nazarbayev, the former dictatorial ruler of Kazakhstan and a friend of Andrew’s and hunting buddy, made the purchase. For more than a decade after Timur bought the estate, nobody came to care for it.
Andrew lives primarily in a $10 million English country estate he has named Royal Lodge. In legal terms, he does not have title to Royal Lodge. The home belonged to his grandmother, the Queen Mother, and is now part of the Crown Estate. Andrew has a 100-year lease on the estate from the Crown Estate and resides there.

Link to Jeffrey Epstein
Prince Andrew’s longtime association with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein has drawn widespread criticism over the years. Years after Epstein’s release from prison, Andrew kept in touch with him by visiting him frequently and staying at many of his lavish estates.
Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s alleged victims, claims that Andrew sought out a sexual encounter with Epstein. Virginia claims that Epstein sold her to Andrew for a sexual encounter in March of 2001. After that, she pulled out a photo that she claims was taken at the time of their meeting and depict Andrew, Virginia, and Ghislaine Maxwell, another of Epstein’s associates.
If her story is to be believed, she was just 17 years old at the time. Virginia claims to have had sexual encounters with Andrew on three separate occasions: once in London in 2001, when she was 17 years old; once in New York; and once on Epstein’s island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. She claims Epstein gave her $15,000 to have sex with the Prince. Andre has refuted the charges against him.
Andrew declared in May 2020 that he has resigned from all official responsibilities as a member of the British Royal Family in the wake of the controversy and allegations.
Andrew and Virginia Giuffre were said to have settled their dispute in February 2022, but the terms were not made public. Reportedly worth $10 million, though this has not been verified at all, the settlement would be paid out in the form of a sizable donation to Ms. Giuffre’s charity that aids victims of sex trafficking.
Multiple sources have indicated that Andrew’s inability to pay the compensation on his own led to the Queen stepping in to aid.”
