When Depeche Mode was founded in 1984, keyboardist Andrew John Leonard Fletcher (commonly known as Fletch) was one of the band’s original members. Induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is scheduled for 2020.
Early Life
Joy and John Fletcher had four children, the eldest of whom was named Fletcher. When he was two, his family relocated to Basildon from Nottingham. From an early age, he participated in the local Boys’ Brigade, mostly to play football.

At the age of 60, Andy Fletcher of the Depeche Mode band died. “We are horrified and overcome with great sadness with the sudden departure of our good friend, family member, and bandmate, Andy Fletch Fletcher,” the band wrote in a tweet.
In other words, “Fletch was always there when you needed encouragement, a spirited discussion, a good laugh, or a cold pint”
According to sources, the musician had a rumored health problem. However, he was not ill at the time of his death. However, there is no proof that he was unwell before his death. This means that he died of natural causes.

Personal Life:
Gráinne Fletcher was Fletcher’s wife for nearly three decades. Two children were born to the couple.
In the early 1980s, when Depeche Mode was traveling with Blancmange, Fletcher’s chess prowess was well-known. “Never winning a game of chess with Andy Fletcher!” Neil Arthur of Blancmange has said in interviews.
Gascogne, a restaurant owned by Fletcher in St. John’s Wood, London’s St. John’s Wood, was on Blenheim Terrace in the 1990s. Lloyd of London and Daniel Miller were involved in several financial settlements as a result of faulty investments made by him in the mid-1990s.

The Independent’s Glyn Brown had this to say about the Faith & Devotion tour of 1994: “An epic 180-show marathon, which became the very definition of torment, was staged Gore, Gahan, and Andrew Fletcher of Depeche Mode were scarcely on speaking terms, and they used separate limos and dressing rooms for their concerts.
Cortisone injections were necessary by the smack-blasted vocalist, Gore had two stress-induced seizures, and Andrew Fletcher had a severe nervous breakdown in the summer of 1994.”
