Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Cast

But what about Jujutsu Kaisen 0’s lead character, Yuta Okkotsu? His imminent appearance in the main series is clearly hinted at in the manga, and a post-credits sequence in the prequel film essentially confirms it as well.

When we inquired about this possibility, English voice actress Kayleigh McKee provided the following response:

“I would absolutely adore it if that occurred. Sincerely, I have no idea where Yuta will go from here, if anywhere, but I do know that if he returns, I would be quite interested in seeing how he has further developed.

As he develops further after learning these lessons and maybe encountering more adversity, McKee continued, “My vision of what I imagine he might be, and become, and how he’ll handle those differently, is so thrilling to think about.

“It’s a very wonderful idea to be able to represent further progression for a character like this, who happens to be one of my favorite roles that I’ve played. And I sincerely hope it does.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Story: What Chapters Will It Adapt?

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date

The Death Painting Arc in Jujutsu Kaisen, which spanned chapters 55-64 of the manga, marked the end of the show’s first season. Gojo’s Past Arc, which spans chapters 65-79 in the manga, will be adapted first in the second season.

That centers on a mission from Gojo’s past in which he and Geto were tasked with escorting a Star Plasma Vessel to the planet Tengen.

The Shibuya Incident (chapters 79-136) will also be adapted for season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen. We won’t give anything away, but the entire plot of the Shibuya Incident Arc is Gojo and his new cursed alliance sealing away Goto.

That’s certain to run for two full courses, which works out to between twenty-four and twenty-six episodes in the forthcoming season.

In need of a quick recap of recent events? Yuji and Nobara reunite with Megumi after their victory over the Cursed Wombs Eso and Kechizu. However, Sukuna consumes the finger (thanks to an anime-style mouth in Yuji’s palm) and takes a little but significant step toward restoring his strength.

The new season will likely deal with this spreading evil, as well as the evil of Choso, the third member of the Cursed Womb triplet, who has joined forces with Geto and Mahito.

A mole has been uncovered at Jujutsu High, and teacher Utahime is on the lookout for the treacherous sorcerer. That will be a major plot point in the upcoming season as well.

Season 2 ends with Gojo inviting Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara (together with Maki and Panda) to take part in a new mission after they are recommended for advancement to Grade 1 Sorcerers.

The CEO of MAPPA, Manabu Otsuka, reassured viewers that season two will not repeat the first.

The first season of the TV show and the movie have been tremendously popular,” he said to Crunchyroll (opens in new tab). We hope to build on that success with Season 2, but we won’t be merely recycling old ideas. In season two, I hope to demonstrate even more progress and success for the show’s audience.
