Will there be a third season of BMF?
Executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who created the series for Starz, the program is made by Lionsgate Television and G-Unit Films and Television Inc. Only four days after the show’s September 2021 debut, the network announced that it had been renewed for a second season.
After the ongoing success of BMF makers have addressed the fan’s obvious question for the next season. BMF season 3 airs on March 15th,2024 as announced by Starz Network. In the new season, Meech and Terry continue to expand their drug empire and prioritize non-violent means of enforcement to avoid attracting police attention.
BMF Plot: What we have seen so far
BMF is inspired by the true tale of two brothers who were raised in southwest Detroit in the late 1980s and later became one of the most important criminal families in American history. The Flenory brothers would go down in history for their charismatic leadership, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory’s commercial savvy, and their common vision that went beyond drug trafficking and into the realm of hip hop.
Nonetheless, their ardent devotion to family ties would also serve as the basis for both their successful partnership and their final breakup. In search of the American dream, the show tackles themes of love, duplicity, and merciless materialism. Beginning in January 2021, Atlanta and Detroit were used for the filming of BMF.
The BMF Cast of Season 3
Starz has yet to release a full Season 3 cast list, but returning Season 2 actors included main stars Demetrius “Lil’ Meech” Flenory Jr. (Demetrius “Meech” Flenory) and Da’Vinchi (Terry “Southwest T” Flenory) alongside Myles Truitt (B-Mickie), Russell Hornsby (Charles Flenory), Steve Harris (Detective Bryant), Eric Kofi-Abrefa (Lamar Sally), Michole Briana White (Lucille Flenory), Laila Pruitt (Nicole Flenory), and La La Anthony (Markaisha Taylor), among others. Guest performers were Mo’Nique, Leslie Jones, Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee, and Kash Doll.
The network revealed on February 21 that 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo will have recurring roles in Season 3. As Stacks, a distributor “whose knowledge and presence compel respect wherever he goes,” rapper 2 Chainz (real name Tauheed K. Epps) will portray him on Starz.
“Stacks confronts Meech’s leadership style and lives by the street code, fiercely devoted and willing to support his family at any cost.” For his part, Ne-Yo (real name Shaffer Chimere Smith) will portray Rodney “Greeny” Green, an Atlanta-based athlete who is all about making the bag. There is more to Greeny than meets the eye; he is brimming with bravado and an enterprising drive.
