Vicksburg, Mississippi – Authorities have apprehended three men from Georgia in connection with an armed robbery at Doc’s Wholesale store in Vicksburg.

The incident, which transpired on October 20, prompted the Vicksburg Police Department to take swift action. Darryl Maddox, Royrecus Cunningham, and Derrick Watkins, all hailing from different areas in Georgia, were identified as suspects in the armed robbery case.

In a recent development, the three accused individuals—Maddox, 59, from Athens, Georgia; Cunningham, 41, from Lexington, Georgia; and Watkins, 60, also from Athens, Georgia—appeared before the Warren County Justice Court on Friday for their initial hearing.

During the court proceedings, all three men were remanded to the Warren County Grand Jury. They were bound over on a substantial $500,000 bond each, reflecting the seriousness of the charges against them.
