This Fourth of July, Tracee Ellis Ross is putting the heat up! In a series of bikini pictures posted to her Instagram on Sunday, July 3 in advance of the holiday festivities, the 49-year-old Black-ish star lit up the screen.
Tracee looked amazing while relaxing by the pool with her friends. She accessorized her strapless green two-piece with a matching trucker hat and some major bling in the form of two gold necklaces.
Prior to turning 50 in October, the gorgeous daughter of Diana Ross has been posting lovely selfies with her friends and followers.
Tracee recently talked about getting older in the entertainment business and how Hollywood frequently engages in ageism in an interview with The Guardian. It specifically targets women, she claimed.
However, I’ve always looked forward to growing older. I enjoy developing my knowledge and experience.
She continued by stating that despite being older, she still experiences “vulnerabilities and discomforts.” However, pretending or hiding the things that make me uneasy or nervous doesn’t make them any more comfortable, you know?
Then, in light of the most recent mass massacre at Uvalde, which claimed the lives of 19 youngsters, Tracee underlined how honorable it is to get older.
With everything going on in this nation, with all of the bloodshed, and with the children who don’t get to live that long, not everyone has that honor.
She also mentioned how tough it had previously been for her to deal with the idea of looking ideal for social media.
“I battled perfectionism, but I now avoid it. I desire a relationship with myself in my current state. I don’t want to have to struggle to maintain the image I project, Tracee fessed up.

Tracee just made the cover of Harper’s Bazaar’s November issue, and she recently spoke candidly about accepting herself as she ages.
She remarked, “It’s been a pretty long journey learning to be me. “It took me a long time to come to terms with who I was, to embrace who I was, and even, on occasion, to truly enjoy and love myself.
Once I finally had the guts to live in the world as that person, it took me a tonne of time.
