As you may or may not have noticed, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are still not formally divorced despite Kim filing for divorce in January 2021.
It seemed like things were getting tight…
After that, everything appeared normal…
Kanye made public pronouncements about them reconciling and acquired property across the street from Kim’s before she began dating Pete Davidson (who got her name BRANDED on himself).
The truth is, a lot is happening (albeit things have been much less tense recently)! Because new information is constantly being lost, therefore we’ve compiled it all here in this timeline.

Kim reveals to Kourtney that Kanye disowned her after she dressed for the Wall Street Journal Magazine Innovator Awards.
Kim said to Kourt, “He contacted me afterward,” in the May 11 episode of The Kardashians (filmed on November 5, 2021). “He showed me a picture of Marge Simpson in an identical outfit and told me my career was ended,” I said.

After Kanye walked out of Kim’s SNL speech on May 4’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim told Khloé, “He’s angry with the fact that I stated ‘the reason I divorced him,’ used the word ‘divorced.'”
That’s why he probably would have preferred that I used the word “filed” instead. Also, I offended him when I referred to him as a rapper. He bragged, “I’m so much more than a rapper. Wow, I can’t believe you just used the word “rapper.”
To which Kim replied, “it’s not going to happen here” for Kanye even if he is “so used to receiving exactly what he wants.”

A source close to Kanye has told Entertainment Tonight that he is making efforts to move on after a period of several weeks with no major issues. Kanye has been resting and concentrating on his recovery.
“He’s attempting to put distance between himself and everything that happened between him and Kim,” the person claims. He has given all of his attention to improving his health and detaching himself from the chaos in his life.
His priority in life is always his wife and children. Working on himself and prioritizing them are his top two priorities.

Kim files paperwork to end her marriage to Kanye and start divorce proceedings. According to the documents, Kim has “been reaching out to Kanye and his counsel to take the case ahead but they have been nonresponsive” since she submitted her petition for dissolution of marriage in February 2021.
As stated in the papers, “the parties’ marriage has irretrievably broken down,” Kim “no longer desires to be married to Kanye,” and “there are simply no compelling reasons not to grant a motion to bifurcate and terminate marital status in this case.”
