Majors got his first break in the 2017 independent film “Hostiles”, where he got to play a supporting role alongside Rosamund Pike and Christian Bale. Later in 2020, Majors got his first lead role as Atticus Freeman in the critically acclaimed HBO series “Lovecraft Country”, based on a Korean War veteran’s journey of finding his missing father.

In the month of March, Majors was charged with assault and abuse by a 30-year-old woman who was supposed to be with Majors. Majors was arrested on March 25 on charges of harassment, domestic violence, and strangulation and the woman herself called the police and informed them that she was assaulted.

The 30-year-old woman was taken to the area hospital in the Chelsea neighborhood where she was treated for some minor head and neck injuries. Talking about Majors’ innocence, his attorney Priya Chaudry said that “he is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows”.

Not much can be said about his case but it is a tough time for the actor and as a result of all this he has been dropped by many talent agencies and has also lost several films like the upcoming “The Man In My Basement” which is a Walter Mosley’s novel adaptation.
