Curtis “CJ” Harris popularly known as C.J. Harris was an American singer who first appeared on the television singing reality show American Idol.
He finished season 13 in sixth place making him loved by all. He first auditioned for the show in 2010 but couldn’t make it to the next rounds but this time in season 13 he was in the top six contestants.
His genres were Country music, Blues-rock, Southern rock, and Country.

C.J. Harris was born on 29th January 1991 in Jasper, Alabama, United States to Stephanie Enis, and not much is known about his father. Before auditioning for the show he was working at a restaurant in Jasper itself.
It is not known whether C.J. Harris was married or had ever tied the knot with anyone but he was survived by his only son Jordan Harris.

According to the reports it is estimated that the former singer had a net worth of $5 million at the time of his death.
He once shared that his granddad was his inspiration and when he was a little older he gave him his guitar which had two to three strings missing.
And with that guitar, the former singer used to make music that would be a little treat to the ears and that’s how he got so attached to music. He said that it was weird but to him, it was very special and a memory he’ll always cherish.

C.J. Harris was a very prominent contestant in season 13 of American Idol and was loved by the judges and audience for his fabulous singing.
He auditioned with the song “Soulshine” by The Allman Brothers and made all the judges, Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and Harry Connick Jr., vote a YES making him closer to the next round.
He finished the season in sixth place and since then there was no turning back. Harris auditioned for the very first time in 2010 but was able to make it to the next rounds. Later he also auditioned for The X-Factor and The Voice.

The former American Idol contestant C J Harris died on 15th January 2023 in Jasper, Alabama at the age of 31.
The cause of his death is yet not confirmed but his family shared that the cause of his death was a heart attack. The singer was 31 years of age and the Walker County Coroner’s Office confirmed the singer was taken to Walker Baptist Medical Center after suffering from cardiac arrest. CPR was given but unfortunately, he died.
Many speculate that the former singer died because of the COVID vaccine and that all the young people dying nowadays are not coincidences. Doctors tried to pacify the fans and gave statements that the COVID vaccines are safe and have no negative effects on the human body.
CJ Harris’ body also showed no effects of COVID vaccines and no negative history of it was detected. Thus, the doctors confirmed that the former 31-year-old American Idol contestant died due to a heart attack in Jasper.
American Idol shared a heartfelt story on Instagram saying “C.J. Harris was an incredible talent, and the news of his passing deeply saddens us,” “He will be truly missed.”
