The 2022 BET Awards marked Halle Bailey and DDG’s red carpet debut. As the pair arrived at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on June 26, Bailey wore a plunging black Mônot set with hip cutouts and a matching silver chain necklace, while DDG wore a matching silver chain Prada ensemble. In the midst of Bailey posing for the cameras, she instantly summoned DDG to picture with her and they look fantastic together.

While attending an Usher performance in Las Vegas in early January, Bailey and DDG became romantically involved. On Bailey’s 22nd birthday two months later, DDG wrote, “Happy Birthday to the beautiful, the most fly, the sweetest love you forever” amid a series of cute selfies. A few weeks after the breakup of her relationship with DDG, Bailey posted a TikTok video of herself teaching him how to sing.
