In the latest episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Jimmy mocked the former U.S. president Donald Trump’s natural ability to lose elections by large margins.
On Tuesday, November 15, Trump announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election even after losing elections by such huge margins (by three million votes to Hillary Clinton in 2016 and by seven million votes to Biden in 2020), and Jimmy grasped the opportunity and poked fun at him.
Kimmel said: “Trump’s campaign is a bid to become the first American to lose the popular vote three times in a row.” He also said that “many prominent Republicans are moving to distance themselves from Trump after the midterm election.”
However, Kimmel admitted that Trump still has two loyal supporters, Mike Lindell (who brought pillows to Mar-A-Lago and a conspiracy theorist who Kimmel dubbed “the Urkel of Treason.”
Adittionally, the show host said that Mike Pence, who used to be Trump’s right-hand man, had a “mildly anticipated memoir” that came out the same night as his former boss’s speech and would make “a great stocking stuffer.”
