Hilaria Baldwin opens up about her take on age-gap relationships.
In the first and foremost episode of her new podcast, Witches Anonymous, featuring jewelry designer Michelle Campbell Mason, Hilaria revealed how she used to think about couples with long age gaps.
“Before I got together with Alec Baldwin (her husband), I would judge women and men that had big age differences,” Hilaria admitted. “I would look at it like, this older man wants some young bimbo that’s it.”
All younger women who marry older guys are gold diggers, the 38-year-old yoga instructor claimed she used to think. They don’t really care about their partner, and all they wish is “I hope you die, and I’m going to steal all your money.”
However, the founder of Yoga Vida admitted that she changed her way of thinking after meeting with Alec, who is 26 older than her. “Now that I’m in that relationship and people will say those things about me regularly, I realize, what was this trained into my head?” she continued.
“Why was I so judgmental about other people who are literally just finding love, maybe their love looks different from you and from your love or what my thought love would be but it doesn’t make it not valid.”
Alec and Hilaria were married on June 30, 2012, and the couple has raised seven children together: Carmen Gabriela (August 23, 2013), Rafael Thomas (June 17, 2015), Leonardo Angel Charles (September 12, 2016), Romeo Alejandro David (May 17, 2018), Eduardo Pau Lucas (September 8, 2020), MarÃa LucÃa Victoria (February 25, 2021, via surrogate), and Ilaria Catalina Irena (September 22, 2022).
Last month, Hilaria shared a photo on her Instagram with a long caption where her all seven kids were laying on a bed. The 64-year-old actor commented on the post writing: “Who’s luckier than us?”
