Alec Baldwin is spending quality time with his family.

Baldwin took to Instagram only a few days after the New Mexico District Attorney’s Office stated that he will be charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter.

On Jan. 22, the 64-year-old American producer posted a photo of his wife Hilaria Baldwin having a massage from their son Leonardo, 6, with the caption, The old “let me give you a back rub” ploy. Potato chips to follow.

Carmen, Rafael, Romeo, Eduardo, Marilu, and Ilaria are the couple’s other children. With ex-wife Kim Basinger, he previously welcomed a daughter Ireland.

The news of Baldwin’s upcoming charges comes more than a year after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was tragically shot on the Rust set when a loaded fake gun held by Baldwin detonated. The New Mexico District Attorney’s Office verified that armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed will face the same two charges as Baldwin.

In reaction to Baldwin’s forthcoming allegations, his attorney, Luke Nikas, stated that they intend to fight.

“This decision distorts Halyna Hutchins’ tragic death,” Nikas said in a statement to NBC News. “Mr. Baldwin had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun—or anywhere on the movie set. He relied on the professionals with whom he worked, who assured him the gun did not have live rounds. We will fight these charges, and we will win.”

Jason Bowles, Gutierrez-attorney, Reed’s also stated that they want “to bring the complete facts to light and think Hannah will be exonerated of guilt by a jury.”

Following the shooting, Hutchins’ husband Matthew Hutchins secured a wrongful death settlement with Baldwin and Rust’s producers in 2022. In a statement received by E! News at the time, he stated that he had “no interest in engaging in recriminations or attribution of guilt” to the producers or Baldwin.

Despite this, his attorney told Law Crime Network on Jan. 19 that the Hutchins family supports the allegations Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed would face.

“It is a comfort to the family that, in New Mexico, no one is above the law,” the statement read. “We support the charges, will fully cooperate with this prosecution, and fervently hope the justice system works to protect the public and hold accountable those who break the law.”
