After getting engaged in January 2022, Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari tied the knot in Fargo, North Dakota, on Sept. 10, 2022.
So who is Audra Mari?
Mari is a beauty pageant queen who has won numerous titles in a variety of events.
She was Miss North Dakota Teen USA in 2011 and finished as the first runner-up in the Miss Teen USA competition. Then, in 2014, she was crowned Miss North Dakota USA and again placed first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant that year’s finals.
Mari was crowned Miss World America in 2016, and later that year, she finished sixth at the Miss World competition.
How did the couple meet?
Early in 2019, Duhamel and Mari were first seen together, although little was known about their new romance at the time.Sources revealed that the couple had been dating casually for a few months before recently deciding to be more serious after engaging in PDA at an airport in October of that year.
On Mari’s 28th birthday, on January 8, 2022, Duhamel proposed in the sweetest way. The actor announced the news in a post on Instagram, where it garnered a lot of support and even received a congratulations from Duhamel’s ex-wife Fergie.
The post, which Mari shared on her Instagram, included a photo of Duhamel and Mari posing with a handwritten note from the actor that read, “Audra Diane Mari Will You Marry Me?”
“It’s on!! She found a message in a bottle that washed ashore and said YES!!,” Duhamel captioned his post.

How did his ex Fergie react to the news?
A representative for Fergie told sources a few days after Duhamel and Mari’s engagement became public that the pop star was “genuinely pleased for Josh.” Fergie and Duhamel were wed for eight years, and they still get along well as they co-parent their kid.
“They both want happiness for the other and cheer each other on still,” says the source.”They don’t do everything in the world together, but seem pretty united for the sake of their son at all times and do occasionally spend family-related things together.”
