She went on to star in Kirstie Alley’s Big Life (2010) and was a contestant in Dancing with the Stars’ 12th season (2011–2012), ending in second place.
Alley made a comeback in 2013 with the title role in the sitcom Kirstie. She starred in the Fox comedy horror series Scream Queens in 2016. She was a contestant in the 22nd season of the British reality show Celebrity Big Brother in 2018, where she came in second place.
Alley, you’re amazing! On Thursday, February 18, Kirstie Alley revealed her incredible weight loss while attending a Jenny Craig event in New York City.
In a form-fitting purple gown, Alley, 65, flaunted her petite body. She wore her long blonde tresses down and wore a maroon leather jacket to complete the ensemble.
After a seven-year break and a 30-pound weight gain, the former Cheers star returned to Jenny Craig as a spokesman in April 2014. From 2005 until 2008, she was a spokesperson for the diet program.

Since 2014, Alley has been following her new weight-loss diet. During an appearance on the Today show in January 2015, she talked about losing 50 pounds.
“Usually, it’s a roller coaster.” It’s different this time,” she explained. “This time, I used our [Jenny Craig] consultants extensively. I’ve used them before, but I didn’t really pay attention to them. This time, I paid attention.”
Indeed, her entire approach was unique. “Before, I had a more ‘Get to the goal, have the goal’ mentality,” she explained. “I asked myself, ‘OK, what is the goal?’ What is the goal’s time frame?’ [This time] I approached it as if it were my life, and I intend to continue [doing it] until I die.
Instead of saying, “Oh, I dropped 50 pounds and now I can do whatever I want,” say, “Oh, I lost 50 pounds and now I can do whatever I want.” That’s something I don’t have anymore… My goal is to keep this going for the rest of my life.”
Alley most recently flaunted her slender form in a Jenny Craig commercial with a Cheers theme. To promote the nutrition brand, the Fat Actress alum reunited with her previous costars, John Ratzenberger and George Wendt.
