Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict first met in 1999 on the set of the indie movie Hollywood Horror. The couple got married in 2008 and share two kids together, their son Cree and daughter Cairo.
According to court documents, Mowry and Hardrict filed for divorce in Los Angeles alleging irreconcilable differences and asking for joint physical and legal custody of their children. Mowry is also requesting that the judge end spousal support because of the prenuptial agreement between her and Hardrict.

In a melancholic black and white photo of former lovers holding hands, Mowry posted on Instagram and announced that the two are parting ways after 14 years of marriage. Mowry mentioned that the couple planned on maintaining a friendship as they co-parent their children.
Meanwhile Cory also dispelled rumors of infidelity after an Instagram user claimed, in a comment on an image of him throwing a baseball posted oh his Instagram that he had ‘cheated on her’ to which the 42-year-old replied, “Lies!”.

Tia’s twin sister, Tamera Mowry opened up about supporting her sister’s decision. She continued on to say that, “I love her dearly. She is strong, but I know right now she just kind of just wants to, you know, just kind of process it all, take it all in and be a little private about that and as a sister, you know, I’m just going to respect that.”
