Clark was born on February 19, 1965. He is the son of Lamar Hunt- the founder of Chiefs in 1960 as Dallas Texans, a charter member of AFL, later moving them to Kansas City two years before Clark’s birth.
He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1987, majoring in business administration with a concentration in finance. During his college days, he was a captain of SMU’s nationally-ranked soccer team and a two-time Academic All-American.
