Who is Letitia Wright?
On October 31, 1993, Letitia Michelle Wright was born in Georgetown, Guyana. When she was seven years old, her family relocated to London, England.
In the 2011 season of the BBC series Holby City, she made her on-screen debut. She got her big break as Princess Shuri in Black Panther in 2018.
After the passing of her co-star Chadwick Boseman, who played T’Challa in 2020, Wright assumed the title role in the follow-up film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Is she dating someone right now?
It is unclear whether Wright is dating someone right now, but it is evident that she is prepared for a relationship.
The actor stated in a recent interview, “I think it’s a pure and wonderful thing to be like, I’m going to wait for love and I’m going to hold off till the appropriate guy comes along.”
Wright continued by saying that she would prefer to wait rather than use a dating app to find a partner.
It could be difficult for the actress to find the ideal partner when they are the object of so many people’s desires. While most regular people find it easy to get married using dating apps, it’s not necessarily so simple for someone who is well-known worldwide.
The actress said although she doesn’t know much about the dating app community, she has acquaintances who use them and that she has a lot of admiration for those that are able to do it.
The actress claimed that her friends thought she was very passive in terms of relationships but she claims that she is simply being cautious.
She said to an interviewer, “I have a strong aversion to having my heart shattered. When that happens, you can’t appreciate your blessings.”
Was she romantically involved with John Boyega?
John Boyega, star of the Star War enterprise and Wright strolled down the red carpet together at the 2018 Met Gala, which caused many to wonder if the two actors are more than friends.
In an interview, Boyega claimed that he and Letitia bonded over both being raised in spiritual households, and they have cheered each other on as their fame has risen over the last few years.
Since they first met at London’s Identity School of Acting and grew close through lengthy post-class discussions at McDonald’s, the two have been close friends for ten years.
After appearing at the Met Gala together which sparked a lot of dating rumours between the two, Wright took to her Instagram to clarify the rumours by posting a photo on her story and captioning it ‘Big bro and little sis vibes’ which shut down the rumours effectively.
