Icon Elvis Presley’s Daughter Lisa Marie Presley Unexpectedly Passes Away

Lisa Marie Presley, the sole child of Priscilla Presley and icon Elvis Presley, tragically passed away on January 12, 2023, from a heart attack. Presley, 54, was brought to a hospital in Los Angeles on Thursday after sheriff’s deputies responded to a report.

Her demise was reported by her family on Thursday night. “The untimely passing of their beloved Lisa Marie has shocked and devastated Priscilla Presley and the Presley family. They humbly appreciate everyone’s love, support, and prayers and ask for privacy during this extremely trying time.” Lisa Marie Presley was survived by her mother Priscilla, 33-year-old daughter Riley Keough and 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley Lockwood.

January 10, 2023, saw Lisa Marie Presley’s final public appearance at the Golden Globes Awards in Beverly Hills. As she watched Austin Butler win the prize for Best Actor in a Film Drama for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s film, Elvis, Lisa Marie was pictured in tears with her mother, Priscilla Presley.

Lisa Marie went to her father’s house, Graceland, in Memphis, Tennessee, a few days before her unexpected death to commemorate what would have been his 88th birthday.

Lisa Marie was also a dedicated philanthropist, through the Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation’s anti-poverty initiatives and Hurricane Katrina relief activities, she got active in a variety of humanitarian projects. For her work, she would be given official citations from Memphis, Tennessee, and New Orleans.

With her ex-husband Danny Keough, Presley had two kids: Riley Keough, an actor, born in 1989, and Benjamin Keough born in 1992. In 2008, she gave birth to twin girls, Harper, and Finley Lockwood, with her ex-husband, Michael Lockwood.
