Gina dies at 95
The Italian movie heartthrob and the most beautiful woman of all time, Gina Lollobrigida died at the age of 95 on January 16, 2023. The actress has been the sex symbol of her time in the 1950s and was the most desirable moment of her time.
Gina died in a clinic in Rome and Lollobrigida’s grandnephew, Francesco Lollobrigida, an Italian Minister of Agriculture along with the actress’ agent KTRE, was the first to announce the actress’ death.
He wrote a heartfelt note and shared the news of the death of the “world’s most beautiful woman” on his Twitter handle saying –“Today #GinaLollobrigida has disappeared, one of the brightest stars of Italian cinematography and culture. Incomparable champion, an icon of beauty and versatility, an extraordinary woman, and a professional. He will continue to live on and inspire through his works.”
Gina’s cause of death
Fans all around the world were speculating about the cause of the actress’ death and the conclusion came that it was a natural death, as the actress was already almost a hundred years old and thus her age could have been the cause of death.
In September 2022, Gina had thigh bone surgery as she had a bad fall and had to immediately go through surgery. After a short period of rest, she was again able to carry out her daily lifestyle and was able to walk again as her condition got better.
So people are also guessing that this surgery could also have been one of the reasons for her death.
Well, all these are mere speculations and guesses made by her fans and no official statement of the cause of her death has been announced by the actress’ family yet.
