Scarlett Moffatt is a presenter, TV personality, and former ballroom dancer from County Durham, England who rose to fame after making regular appearances on the Channel 4 show Gogglebox.
After winning the sixteenth season of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2016, she went on to participate in other shows like Extra Camp, which follows the I’m a Celebrity franchise, and Saturday Night Takeaway, hosted by Ant and Dec.
She and her family recently starred in a four-part Channel 4 documentary called The British Tribe Next Door, in which she and her Namibian village neighbors played major roles.
The controversy surrounding former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt’s weight reduction and subsequent size 8 dress size for the release of a best-selling training DVD in 2016 overshadowed her extraordinary turnaround.

The celebrity took part in the I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! jungle challenge toward the end of 2016. Where can I run away to? As she prepared to enter the jungle, Scarlett lost three stones and posted numerous photos of her progress on Instagram.
I can’t believe I’ve lost two pounds of fat,” she exclaimed to her audience at one point. You should be really pleased with yourself. Actually, if a chronic couch potato can do it, so can you.
Scarlett Moffatt claims that she was “miserable” after she lost weight.
It was reported in 2018 that Scarlett expressed dissatisfaction with her new, smaller form at a session for the Glamour Beauty Festival. Scarlett, fresh from her reign as Queen of the Jungle, was the featured speaker at her younger sister Ava’s (then 13) body positivity lecture.
Scarlett is quoted in The Sun as saying, “When I initially came out of the jungle I went through a stage where I felt like I had to attempt to look a certain way.” I’ll admit that I made an effort to stop being seen as the stereotypical Geordie girl for a while. I stopped using self-tanner and started donning WAG outfits instead.
To this day, I still feel awful on the inside. What I find so interesting about my eyelashes is that they extend all the way to my orange eyebrows.
During an interview on Frankie Bridge’s Open Mind Podcast, Scarlett revealed that she planned to increase her calorie intake after the publication of the DVD, citing her belief that her current 700-calorie daily diet was “detrimental” to her mental health.
The extreme diet DVD was the “worst thing I’ve ever done,” she continued, adding that she hoped her negative review would “stop people buying it.”
I came to the conclusion that it was quite harmful to my mental health, she explained. SuperSlimMe!, by Scarlett B. Plan, shines brightly as the star fades.
Scarlett’s DVD, SuperSlim Me Plan, has received a lot of positive feedback since its release.
Announcing the release of her DVD on December 26th, 2016, Scarlett wrote, “WOW MY DVD Comes out Today! Bookstores and online retailers now carry Scarlett’s book, Super skinny me.
Let’s work in harmony and encourage one another to reach our full potential in terms of health and happiness. She also mentioned that after just one week, she had lost 7.5 pounds.
On September 23rd, 2013, Moffatt was added to the cast of the upcoming MTV show Beauty School Cop Outs. A diverse collection of young people from the United Kingdom and Ireland attend a beauty school in Manchester in this reality show.
Moffatt and her parents, Mark and Betty, first appeared on the March 2014 episode of the third season of the Channel 4 reality show Gogglebox. Scarlett’s younger sister Ava-Grace made an appearance in Season 7, while her then-boyfriend Luke Crodden made his debut in Season 8.
Their breakup with Luke occurred in March of 2017. Moffat hasn’t been seen on Gogglebox since he appeared on I’m a Celebrity. My departure from this location is urgently required.
They saw her for the first time on November 30, 2015, when she joined the Capital Breakfast on Capital North East presenting crew. On November 8th, 2016, it was revealed that Moffatt will be participating in the upcoming sixteenth season of I’m a Celebrity.
