Big Sean and Jhené Aiko’s brood is growing. Aiko and Big Sean are expecting their first child together, People confirmed on Sunday. Aiko and Big Sean were photographed walking together in Beverly Hills on Saturday, and TMZ uploaded photographs of an obviously pregnant Aiko.
Aiko and Big Sean are expecting their second kid together. She has a 13-year-old daughter, Namiko Love, from a former relationship with singer O’Ryan, with whom she sang the hit single “Triggered”
Two years after Big Sean’s song “Deep Reverence,” which includes an allusion to a miscarriage, was published, the couple announced their wonderful news. As far as I can tell, there was no mention of Aiko’s name in the song, but the lyrics featured the lines “Should be a billionaire because of the time off I’m not taking / Probably why we lost the kid.” Aiko was mentioned in the song, but that’s only speculation on the part of the fans.
Big Sean and Aiko have been dating since the end of 2016. With their long-term relationship, they are also frequent collaborators who often appear on one other’s tracks. So much so that they went on tour as a duet called Twenty88 and recorded an album together that year.
Despite the fact that Aiko and Big Sean have been dating for a long time, their relationship is still strong. Aiko explained to DJ Khaled in a February 2021 interview why she thinks their love has lasted so long. Having such a solid foundation of true friends who get to know one another on an intimate level, she says, “has made our relationship what it is.”
