People announced Chris Evans as this year’s Sexiest Man Alive on November 7. The magazine chooses its subjects, People’s former editor-in-chief Dan Wakeford claims that the magazine chooses its subjects not just based on a celebrity’s appearance but also on their general disposition.
According to Wakeford, who previously spoke with CNN, “being beautiful is about being decent, intellectual, humorous, and talented.” He continued, “Someone who creates buzz” is a must, and occasionally, a person they are dating may offer them bonus points.
