Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope added a new chapter to their life as they welcomed their first child.
On Friday, the duo took the blissful news to their Instagram where in an adorable picture, Joey was seen holding the little baby girl in his hands whereas Samantha was staring at her daughter while embracing her hand.
“1.16.23 ~ Dylan Rose Lawrence ~ Mom, Dad, and big sisters are all so smitten with you sweet girl!” Lawrence and Cope wrote via a joint Instagram post.
“We welcomed her into this world with the most amazing midwife, everyone is happy and healthy and we are overjoyed with gratitude wow what a beautiful journey. thank you for all your continued love surrounding this beautiful new life! stay tuned for baby spam xoxo.”
Samantha and Joey first met on the set of the Lifetime Movie Network film My Husband’s Secret Brother, and they noticed their friendship becoming stronger with each passing month. As a result, in August 2021, they both get engaged and made an official declaration of their love.
Finally, in May 2022, the couple exchanged vows and made themselves available to one other. Joey was already the father of two girls, Charleston, 16, and Liberty, 12, with his ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson at the time of their marriage. Samantha, on the other hand, only had her first child with Joey.
Three months after he tied the knot, Lawrence made the announcement on Instagram that he and Cope are expecting their first child together. He captioned the post, “The blessings just keep on coming.”
